Description: Twice-exceptional students are students with superpowers! Often, these powers are enhanced by the presence of challenges, in particular those that would make accelerated placement in a classroom with older peers difficult. In our goal to reach all learners, the Kiel Virtual Schools have done work to expand our special education services and student success coaching with the 2E learner in mind. Join us among the stars to talk shop about how you can get your students the vigor they need to fly, while giving them an inclusive environment with academic peers that helps build up the skills that challenge them, including self awareness, executive functioning, and the confidence that comes with a world where self-advocacy is the norm.
