2018 Conference features for Parents & Guardians |
Parent Day Flyer |
We know that parents and guardians of gifted children often don’t have an avenue to come together with other parents or to learn more about supporting gifted children. The WATG Board is pleased to announce that our conference will feature sessions and opportunities designed to address that need.
Among other sessions, those shown below will be available to engage parents in a range of topics associated with giftedness and gifted children. We will also provide opportunities for parents to network with other parents of gifted children, sharing opportunities and meeting with others who understand the experience and challenges of raising a child with gifts and talents. We've also set aside a board room for parents to have close conversations and discussions about issues of concern and to network! Parent Conference fee - $60*/day (includes meals and snacks). *Pre-conference extra Check out some of the parent-centric sessions highlighted at right. See the whole schedule here! |
