GIFTEDNESS AND LITERACY ~ Resources from Dr. Penny Kolloff
On May 14, 2011 Dr. Penny Britton Kolloff presented the workshop, "Giftedness and Literacy: Conversations and Connections." Dr. Kolloff is past president of the Illinois Association for Gifted Children, retired faculty member at the University of Illinois, honored board member of the National Association for Gifted Children, and advisor to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the Gifted Education Resource Institute at Purdue, and the Center for Talent Development at Northwestern.
Dr. Kolloff is an expert on the topic of gifted children and literacy, and her May 14th presentation featured two free workshops on that topic. The workshops were a collaborative project of CESA 1, Milwaukee Public Schools and
the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted.
