Each year, WATG seeks to honor those who have made an impact in Wisconsin to further the quality education of gifted children. These awards are presented at the Fall Conference held annually in October.
Typically, examples of the work those honored have done might include:
Making a valuable contribution to the enhancement of gifted and talented efforts in Wisconsin
Making a significant difference in a school or district
Having a dramatic effect on students
Providing extraordinary service to parents
Exemplary work in curriculum development or faculty staff development
If you would like to nominate a person or group for our annual awards, please download the form below and submit by June 30, 2010.
Congratulations to the 2009 WATG Award winners who accepted their awards at our Fall Conference at the Kalahari October 1 and 2. It was especially inspiring to hear the remarks of award winners who urged the educators in the room to keep striving for excellence in gifted education.
