Fascinating profiles of many of the leaders of gifted advocacy in our state are being posted here. Check back as more are added each month. These pioneer profiles will be included in the WHS archive.
The 40 Year Fund has been established as a means to continue our mission to educate about and advocate for the gifted community in Wisconsin. Find out more here.

- 40 years ago the Wisconsin Council for Gifted and Talented (WCGT) was formed, the first state advocacy organization. Shortly thereafter, the Wisconsin Association for Educators of the Gifted and Talented (WAEGT) was created.
- 20 years ago Wisconsin parents and educators joined their separate advocacy groups to become the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted (WATG.)
